The Child Nutrition Department at ESC Region 12 provides workshops and other regional training opportunities that encompass all facets of program operations for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), the School Breakfast Program (SBP), the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and the Child and Adult Care Food Service Program (CACFP) including summer workshops as mandated by Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).
We also provide a forum for information exchange and transfer of technical data through an informal one-to-one non-training setting for the purpose of developing competencies that enrich/enhance and strengthen activities that will improve the performance level of the child nutrition staff and School Food Authority (SFA).
