Early Childhood ~ Grade 6 Generalist
Prerequisite - 24 semester hours in a combination of English, math, natural
science, and social studies with at least 3 hours in each
of the four areas
Grades 4 - 8 Generalist
Prerequisite - 30 semester hours in a combination of English, math, natural
science, and social studies with at least 15 hours in one
of the four areas and 9 hours in a second area, and 3 hours
in each of the two remaining areas
Grades 8 - 12:
- English, Language Arts and Reading
- History
- Life Sciences
- Physical Sciences
- Mathematics
- Spanish
Prerequisite - 24 semester hours in area of specialization of which 12 semester
hours must be upper-division hours (junior-senior level)
Secondary Composite
Science (8-12)
Prerequisite - 42 semester hours in a combination of biology, chemistry, geology,
and physics or physical science. 24 hours minimum in one area,
12 of which are upper-division (junior- senior level), and
a minimum of 6 hours in each of the remaining three areas.
Secondary Composite
Social Studies (8-12)
Prerequisite - 42 semester hours in a combination of history, government, geography,
and economics. 24 hours minimum in one area, 12 of which are
upper-division (junior-senior level), and a minimum of 6 hours
in each of the remaining three areas.
All Level Certification:
- Art
- Music
- Physical Education (PE)
- Technology Applications
