Response to Intervention (RTI) is the practice of providing high-quality instruction and interventions matched to student need. This is accomplished through an integrated approach to teaching encompassing general and special education programs. Effective implementation of RTI requires leadership, collaborative planning, and implementation by professionals across the education system and stakeholders in the community.
