Post-Secondary Readiness Innovative Delivery Experience (P.R.I.D.E.)
TransformED learners PRIDE themselves in choosing robust professional development. Join this multi-disciplinary approach that focuses on individual learning and group dynamics. This synergistic academy will include teacher leaders, counselors, campus, and district administrators. A primary focus will include: Accountability (Domain 1), Administrators & Leadership, Counseling & School Health, CTE, English Language Learners, Federal Programs and Special Education.
This ongoing professional development will keep education professionals up-to-date on new research on how children learn, emerging technology tools for the classroom, new curriculum resources, and more. The best professional development is ongoing, experiential, collaborative, and connected to and derived from working with students and understanding their culture. PRIDE will provide all of these elements to help bolster student success.
TransformED experiences will include: Completing the Challenger Academy, Book studies, independent research, industrial site visits, online learning modules, social media immersion--including Facebook live and twitter chats. This year-long customizable professional development will meet the needs and learning styles of all participants.
This year, we will study books by Dr. John P. Kotter. Chapter Chats will be moderated by ESC Staff and be accessible through a variety of platforms including face-to-face, Google Classroom, Facebook live or Twitter chat.

The Challenger Learning Center is part of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, an international not-for-profit education organization founded in April 1986 by the families of the astronauts tragically lost during the Challenger space shuttle mission. All programs offered by the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) Challenger Learning Center provide meaningful and engaging science, technology, engineering and math activities.
