ESC Region 12 provides accounting services based on your district/charter school needs. All services are performed in accordance with the requirements of TEA’s Financial Accounting Resource Guide, and are provided through an inter-local agreement that specifies the scope of the service to be rendered, and the cost.

Services:

• Financial Audit Preparation - This service provides up front accounting analysis to help increase your preparation readiness for the annual external audit. This is done by performing a set review of key areas and concludes with the presentation of a summary report of findings and concerns.
  
  
• Bookkeeping - This service is designed to assist with day-to-day accounting entries such as vendor checks, preparing and processing district payroll, financial reporting and the benefits of PEIMS.
  
  
• Bank Reconciliation - This service provides reconciliation of monthly bank and investment account balances to the district accounting records.
  
  
• Other Services - Other financial services related to the district business office may be available upon request.
