15th Annual Region 12 Paraprofessional Celebration Scheduled for November 2, 2009
The 15th Annual Region 12 Paraprofessional Celebration conference will be held November 2 at Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12, in Waco. Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m., the conference will begin at 8:05 a.m. and it will conclude at 4:00 p.m.
This special event will give participants the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues and obtain continuing professional education credit. The Celebration will focus on topics ranging from student achievement to organizational skills. Participants will also find sessions enabling them to enhance their NCLB Highly Qualified skills.
Participants will learn how to assist teachers in improving student achievement, how to work efficiently and effectively in a school setting, and how to manage students. They will also learn how to develop and maintain relationships with students and parents, but most importantly, participants will celebrate their unique and vital role in educating ALL children.
