ESC Region 12 Career Event for Students Cancelled

WACO, TEXAS—Education Service Center Region 12 is cancelling Careers on Wheels (C.O.W.) Day. The event was scheduled for Friday, May 1 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at ESC Region 12. There are no current plans to reschedule the event. 

The event had approximately 1,500 individuals registered, most of whom were elementary students traveling from all over the region. The health and safety of all involved was at the center of this decision. We feel that taking every possible precaution to prevent the potential spread of Swine Influenza is critical to our organization, the community and the students.
