Administrators' Institute for School Improvement
Campus administrators wear many hats in their daily lives and are required to be experts in many fields. The Administrators' Institute for School Improvement strives to provide the most current information in a variety of areas to assist you in being prepared to meet the myriad challenges you face daily. to provide step-by-step instructions for the
forms and processes for retention and promotion
of students under the new mandates through TAC

GT Training for Administrators / Counselors ~ Participants will explore the nature and needs
of gifted and talented students, including latest
legislative and TEA requirements for gifted
education. This session will satisfy the six
hours of state-required G/T training for Administrators
and Counselors (Chapter 89.2 Subchapter A of
19 TAC).

New Century Educational Leadership Program
(NCELP)
We partner with Tarleton State University to provide this program, which provides the opportunity for an individual to complete requirements for a principal certificate and a graduate degree from Tarleton while maintaining a leadership position in a supporting district. Two semesters are offered each year.

New Superintendents' Institute
The focus of the New Superintendents' Institute is to assist first-time superintendents with the understanding of what is expected of a superintendent in the 21st century.

School Board Training
This training is designed to orient school board members with the Texas Education Code. The training focuses on how to create effective teams, assess team performance and develop team growth plans. This training also facilitates collaboration between the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent to create a shared vision for the district.
